Cabbage Stir Fry

Serves: 4
Ingredients
Cabbage - 250gms (finely chopped)
Shallots - 6 (crushed)
Grated coconut - 1 cup (slightly crushed)
Green chilli - 2 (crushed)
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 2 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 stem
Salt - to taste
Oil - 2 tsp
Preparation Method
Mix cabbage, grated coconut and salt in a bowl.
Heat oil in a pan.
Splutter mustard seeds. Then add urad dal, curry leaves and saute for a while.
Add shallots, green chilli and sauté for about 30 seconds.
Add cabbage - coconut mix along with turmeric powder and salt.
Mix well and close the pan with a lid and let it cook for 5 minutes on a low flame (stir occasionally)
Open the lid and stir for another 3 - 4 minutes till the water gets evaporated and the mixture becomes dry.
Serve with rice.
