Maanga Chammanthi / Raw Mango Chutney (thick form)

Raw Mango (sour) - 130 gms, peeled & chopped

Grated coconut - 1 1/2 cup

Shallots (kunjulli) - 5

Red hot chilli  - 3 - 4

Curry leaves - few

Salt - to taste

Preparation Method

Grind all the ingredients together without adding water.

Then try shaping it into a ball & see whether its holding the shape, then your chammanthi is ready to be served..


Grated coconut quantity depends on the the sourness of the mango. Do a taste test of the mango first to see the sourness & then add grated coconut accordingly.
