Maanga Pachadi / Raw Mango with Coconut and Yogurt  





It is a Kerala dish made with raw mango and coconut in Mustard paste.

Today what I have featured here is my mom’s recipe and I made this recently and you know what,  my husband loved it !!. We had it with rice and hope you all will enjoy this recipe as much as we did.



Preperation Time: 10 min.

Cooking Time: 2 min.

Serves: 4

Ingredients



Raw mango, slightly sour - 1 small (peel & cut into small pieces)

Grated coconut - 1 cup

Red chilli (NOT dry red chilli) -  2 or Chilli powder - 1 tsp

Curry leaves - 3

Curd (yogurt) - 3/4 cup, (see the measurements here)

Salt - to taste

Mustard seeds - 1 tsp

Coconut oil - 1 tsp



Preparation Method



Grind all the above ingredients (except coconut oil) to a smooth form.

Mix well and add 1 tsp of coconut oil and a few curry leaves on top.

Serve with rice.



Note:

You can use green chillies instead of red chilli / chilli powder.
