Preperation Time: 45 min.

Flour (maida) - 2 cups

Baking soda - 1/4 tsp

Baking powder - 1/2 tsp

Sugar - 1 tsp (powdered)

Yougurt- 1 Tbsp

Milk - 3/4 cup

Salt - to taste

For stuffing

Combine all the below ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

Paneer - 1/2 cup (grated)

Green chillies - 2 (finely chopped)

Chilli powder - 1 tsp

Chat masala - 1 tsp, optional

Chopped coriander leaves - 1 Tbsp

Salt - to taste

Preparation Method

Sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda into a bowl.

Add sugar, milk, salt and yogurt to it and knead into a soft dough.

Cover it with a damp cloth and keep aside for 30 minutes to ferment.

Make small balls with the dough and flatten them a bit.

Make a small well in the centre and place 2 Tbsp of stuffing in it and enclose it from all sides.

Roll the balls into a 6″ diameter thick round / oval shape.

Transfer it into a hot tawa and when it gets puffed up, gently press and turn it over and let it cook for another 2 - 3 minutes.

Apply a little bit of butter just before serving and your paneer kulcha is ready to taste!
