Pav Bhaji

Ingredients


Burger bun - 2

Onion - 1 (finely chopped)

Potato - 3 (diced), Cauliflower florets - ½ cup, Green peas - ½ cup

Green capsicum - 1 (finely chopped)

Tomato - 2 small (chopped)

Ginger - garlic paste - 1 tsp

Pav bhaji masala - 2 tsp

Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp

Chilli powder - ½ tsp

Coriander powder - ½ tsp

Cumin seeds - ½ tsp

Lemon juice - 1 tsp

Salt - to taste

Chopped coriander leaves - a few (for garnishing)

Preparation Method


Cook potato, green peas and cauliflower with salt and water.

Drain the water and slightly mash them and keep aside.

Heat oil in a pan and splutter cumin seeds and add ginger - garlic paste and saute for a while.

Add onion, capsicum and saute for about 3 - 4 minutes.

Add tomatoes and cook till tomatoes become soft.

Add pav bhaji masala, turmeric powder, coriander powder and chilli powder and saute for a minute.

Add mashed vegetables and salt into it and mix well.

Add lemon juice and finally give a good stir.

Garnish it with coriander leaves.

Toast the bun with butter and serve with bhaji.
