Vermicelli Pulav  




Ingredients


Roasted semolina - 1 cup

Oil - 3 Tbsp

Onion - 1 (finely chopped)

Green chilli - 1 Tbsp (chopped)

Ginger - 1/2 Tbsp (chopped)

Tomato - 1/4 cup (chopped)

Water - 1 1/2 cup

Carrot grated - 1/2 cup

Grated coconut - 1/4 cup

Salt - to taste


Preparation Method


Heat oil in a frying pan and add ginger, green chilli and onion and saute for 2 - 3 minutes.

Add tomatoes and saute for about 3 minutes.

Add salt and water.

When water boils add semolina, mix well and cook covered for about 3 - 4 minutes.

Open the lid and add grated carrot, grated coconut and saute for another 3 - 4 minutes.

Mix well and serve.
